NYFW Fall 2017 | Our Favourite Looks

Feisty feminism. adj. A phrase describing both the fashion and the politics at this year's New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Fall 2017 and THE M|N|ML's favourite style of sartorial expression. Fashion as politics on the catwalk is nothing new, but a fashion week doused in political overtones was inevitable in the current global climate. On the topic of climate, this was a vicariously delightful exercise (#qldheatwave)
From the Women's March founders opening Mara Hoffman's show to plus size models and power slogan tees at Prabal Gurung to Chelsea Clinton's covert attendance at NYFW Fall 2017 and slinky minxes sashaying down the catwalk at Cushnie et Ochs, one thing is clear: the future is female.
Among the revolution and unruliness, though, were welcome pops of colour (some of them similar to our own styles in Sahara Rose and Barcelona Berry), flashes of shimmer and classic style from both the established and debutant designers. Here are just some – we would have been here for weeks otherwise – of our favourite looks from the catwalk at this year's NYFW Fall 2017.
